Guest guest Posted October 22, 2004 Report Share Posted October 22, 2004 Confetti Rice Source: Nature's Harvest 1 Tbsp. vegan margarine 1 cup rice 2 1/2 cups hot water 3 vegetable bouillon cubes 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 cup green onions, chopped 3/4 cup carrots, chopped 3/4 cup celery, ehopped 1/4 cup almonds, sliced Melt margarine in skillet (or use olive oil). Add rice and stir until heated (about 5 minutes). Add hot water and cubes. Bring to a boil. Put into casserole dish and bake covered until rice is done. Add the vegetables and nuts and cook 10 minutes longer. When brown rice is used, allow at least 1 hour for baking. " I send you love and good dishes --- from my house to yours!
