Guest guest
Hi Kathi, When the weather is warm (or for a treat anytime) I make a frozen peach treat for the kids. I'm not sure if it's what you are looking for, but here's what I do. I use canned peaches, in juice no sugar added, drain away and reserve the juice, then freeze the peaches in a single layer for about an hour, just until they are somewhat firm but not solid (if they do get to solid just let them dethaw awhile). Then put the peaches into a blender along with some of the reserved juice, start with about 1/2 cup, blend until smooth, adding more juice if needed. The result is a cold, slushy, yummy treat that we all enjoy. I've also made this with pineapple, I'm sure any fruit would work. I cannot have sugar and all that powder kooaid stuff scares me. I want to use stevia or agava nectur but do I juice fruits? I am looking for any idea. I live in Texas and is is hot and humid here so I need something to refresh myself with when everyone else is going to the best snowcone place anywhere. It is in Oak Cliff where I live so I am sooo tempted. > Thanks and have a beautiful day > kathi > > > > Feel free to call! Free PC-to-PC calls. Low rates on PC-to-Phone.
