Note on vegan baking

It is really fun and easy and there is not need to “replace” things

like eggs in your baked goods.

Vegan baking is a science of its own.

Here are some tips for the vegan chef:

0 under bake cookies!!! Take them out after 5-7 minutes, they’ll keep

cooking for a while so if you want your cookies to turn out nice and

chewy make sure to take them out when they’re still soft.

0 never forget the baking powder, it is essential in order to make your

pastries rise.

0 different flours behave differently, don’t strictly follow what’s written in

recipes, add liquid or flour to make the dough the consitency you desire.

0 if you are into low fat baking simply replace the oil with applesauce, it

works!

0 most of all, enjoy! eat as much uncooked dough as you want, there is

no risk of salmonella in vegan baking!

0 stick a toothpick in to see if your cakes are done, if they don’t come

out clean bake a little longer.

.... Remember me?

Since consciousness isn't limited by space or time,

you'll recall that we're old friends... "
