Guest guest Posted May 11, 2005 Report Share Posted May 11, 2005 Layers of Fruit with Compote Fitonics for Life Compote 1/2 cup dried figs 1/2 cup dried apricots 1/2 cup dried pitted prunes 1/2 cup raisins Fruit 2 bananas, thinly sliced 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced into thin rounds 1 pear, quartered, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced 8 strawberries, thinly sliced, or one peeled and sliced orange 1. Rehydrate dried fruit in 2 cups water overnight or for several hours. 2. Slice fruit in layers in shallow serving dish. 3. Spoon fruit into bowls, maintaining layers.
