Guest guest
Quick answer: a sub for ghee used in vegetarian indian dietary regimes. It can be made from several different sources like canola oil or soy which you stated your were allergic to, but some make it from other things. The only brand I have used is Hanif's (canola based) but can't say for sure what else you might fine. Diana Hartman has an olive oil based sub that she makes at home. Perhaps that is something to look in to bringing with you. BL Mary Beth Blackmon wrote: > Brenda Lee, I don't know what vegetable ghee is. Ghee, yes, meaning > from butter. Guest guest
Mary Beth, vegetable ghee is supposed to be made from corn. Guest guest
Not all of it. Some is canola, some is soy and some is made from indian sourced oils. The one I use consistently is strictly canola, but that's out for Mary Beth too.
