Guest guest Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 Garbanzo Flour Gravy 1/2 cup garbanzo flour 2 cups water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1/8 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. minced onion 3 Tbsp. soy sauce (wheat free if necessary) 2 tsp. dried parsley or 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley Blend garbanzo flour in water. Add salt, onion powder, garlic powder, celery seed, minced onion, soy sauce, dried or fresh parsley. Cook on low heat until thickened. Flour may be browned before blending if desired. Potato water may be used for part of the liquid. Variation: Other flours can be used in place of garbanzo flour such as millet. Use less or more seasoning to your taste.
