Margarine in Canada?

We're going to be in Edmonton for several days (9/30-10/7) and, as a

person allergic to dairy, corn, soy, canola (and about a zillion

other things), I am wondering if I should bring a stick of my

Passover margarine along...or if there is something I could have,

readily available up there. I know that in England, there is a

sunflower-only margarine--sure didn't stumble on it 10 years ago

when I was there!

I'd appreciate any advice from any of the group's Canadians. Brenda-

Lee, you seem so knowledgeable!

Thanks!

There are some vegan margarines available in stores, but I am pretty

sure they all have soy products them. I have never been able to get

Mothers - even Kosher for Pesach - here so I would really suggest you

bring your own. Make sure you have the packing though in case of

problems at the border.

What about vegetable ghee? Is that something you can use?
