Guest guest
I hate to bring up the whole oat debate, but some have posted previously that oats are not grown with wheat in some countries and therefore ok. I don't live in the U.S. The oats in my country can be from Australia, from Ireland, from the US, and elsewhere (brand and kind dependant). We grind our own rice flour(white, brown is not good quality and difficult to get) and corn starch is our only other option (no teff, no potatoe flour, corn meal is not good, no arrowroot, no buckwheat, no....you name it.) We are very limited on what we can eat because of this. To have a cookie is something my kids look forward to 6 mos a year. Because of this, oats would open up a new world, but I am hesitant (understandably). We are GFCF and have been for 4 years now and can't use soy or navy beans. Thank you for your help and information, and if anyone would email me personally, this is helpful too. Sue
