Guest guest
Baked Apples Source: Clear Creek Kitchen 4 ea. Apples (Fuji or other sweet apples) 1/4 c. Dates (chopped) 1/4 c. Almonds (or other nuts chopped) 1/4 c. Raisins 1/2 c. Water 1 tsp. Lemons (juice) 1 tsp. Vanilla Slice 1/2 inch or less off the top of the apples. You may also wish to slice off a piece on the bottom of the apples so they sit up straight. Core each apple and put them into a casserole dish. Stuff the apples with the date pieces, nuts, and raisins. Mix the water, lemon juice, and vanilla together and pour over the top of the apples. Cover the apples and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. Enjoy!
