Guest guest
Hi, I knit in the evening when I watch TV, and do some small things with paper art like doodling and cutting paper out for projects. This does help, but having snack foods...which I was supposed to, and MUST, get out of the house, call to me. Cut up veggies and apples to use to cut the calories, will help. I know I need to just NOT eat, but this is unlikely, so I am trying to make healthy lower cal., substitutions. I saw an idea, today, that for some reason I never thought of as a snack...and it is easy and yummy. Make homemade applesauce and have a dish of this, I like it chunky. I use Splenda or Equal, but some may prefer other sweeteners. A suggestion I read is to have a boiled egg, which if you are not vegan, will satisfy quite well. Deviled eggs, add more cals. but you can cut back to using a small amount of low fat mayo, in the prep. I think writing down a food list is good. Thanks for the idea. I know already that portions and carbs are my enemies. It is hard to teach an old dog new tricks, I guess. Woof! Barb AZ/OR
