Guest guest
Country Gravy 2 c. Water 1/2 c. Cashews 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder 1/2 tsp. Salt 1 Tbsp. Nutritional Yeast Flakes 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch Place 1 cup of the water and the cashews in a blender. Turn on the blender, and while it is running add the seasonings and cornstarch. Blend until very smooth. Add remaining 1 cup of water and mix. Place into a small sauce pan and heat on the stove on medium-high, stirring frequently. Gravy will thicken. Use generous amounts of seasonings and nutritional yeast flakes! Bragg's Liquid Aminos are also good in this gravy. Another suggestion is to roast the cashews before using them in this recipe. Enjoy!
