Enough water and exercise? Guest guest Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 Hi Diana--Welcome to the group. Many vegetarian meals are very healthy and you'll find some good recipes in this group. Perhaps going outside and walking or doing some other exercise would help you also with wieght and depression. Also cutting out sugar often helps, as well as refined pastas. Heavy meals make me tired, but I feel much better if most of my diet is fruits and veggies. Diana > Most of us will get omega 3 from flax seed or flax oil, I think. There's no suggestion here that one should eat fish - this is a vegetarian group, and vegetarians don't eat any 'animal' flesh (including birds and fish as well as other animals). You can also get omega 3 in capsule form, but be careful that the capsules are not gelatin capsules because gelatin is nonvegetarian.
