Guest guest
I feed my girls Nature's recipe (vegetarian formula)- it is %100 percent nutritional balanced. I researched the topic of Veg dogs and there is a lot of debate- BUT there are 2 problems they have found with veg*n dogs- There is a conditon called heart myopthy -- the arteries colapse--his happen in meat eating dogs as well- this is avoided buy ensuring the dogs receives omega 3 & 6 fatty acids- there is some in the food mentioned above- there are higher doses in other suplements. they have also found high levels of alkili in the urine- meaning there is not enough vitamin C in the bladder to buffer the basic properties of the veg diet- this can be avoided by feeding fruit high in vit C -- i believe the food above has it-- they suggest the use of cranberry capsules-- but i use a supplement by pet authority that also has an important ingrediente- taurine My girl love it !! the one thing i would definately suggest is to ensure the food she chooses is %100 nutritionally balanced
