My husband is not schizophrenic, but is bipolar and he too is far better off

without the gluten and dairy products in his diet. Soy also has a less

noticeable affect but is still of concern.

Has anyone suggested to you that high doses of B complex, especially B6 would

also help mitigate and remaining symptomology?

Hi Mikey;

I'm delighted that you are having such good results with your vegan/gluten-free

diet! :-) Keep it up!

A tablespoon of ground flax seed per day has the omega 3 fatty acid necessary

for us to make our own GLA, especially when one eats a diet low in the omega 6

fatty acids. This is part of why I follow the low-fat dietary recommendations

of Dr. John McDougall.

When you have been on the gluten-free diet long enough, your intestinal villi

recover and your nutrient uptake improves. Just stick with it!

Thanks for sharing your happy news with us!
