Sure you have more to lose, but you're over a third there already, so take heart! It's good to have a supportive spouse and good that he's almost veggie (well, pesco-veg is close, eh?) and maybe he'll find he likes eating veggie too. All the best of luck. I am working my way to being a vegetarian. Several times in my life I have quit eating meat. My husband is pretty supportive of my choices at home and since he is basically only eating fish -- now is a good time for me to go back to being a vegetarian. Still have a teenager at home but he is chicken only so I will just have to have some to add to recipes for him -- not too difficult. I have lost about 45 pounds since January of 2006, just by eating less and exercising more, but I still have about 70 pounds to lose and I need a healthier diet to do it. We should have plenty of recipes containing either tofu or beans in our files so make sure you go through those when you can. I'm glad to hear your husband is supportive of your desire to go veg; that always helps!
