You may not think of plums when you think of smoothies, yet they add great flavor. Plums are a good source of bioflavoniods, a class of compounds that act as pwerful antioxidants, which protect the body against free-radical damage. 1/2 cup soy milk or milk of choice 1teaspoon pure vanilla extract 4 small ripe purple plums, rinsed, seeded, and cut in half 1 large peach, peeled, seeded, and chopped into 1 to 2 inch chunks 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks 6 ice cubes Put all ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth and serve immediately. serves 2. serving size 11.4 oz. each serving 2 pts * Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
