During WW II, fighter pilots were given blueberry extracts to help improve their night vision. (Bilberry is similar to the blueberry) If you are having trouble adjusting from dark to light or seeing as well at night as daytime, try adding more blueberries to your diet. 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed if fresh 6 mint leaves, rinsed 6 ice cubes Pour applesauce into a blender and add the blueberries, mint leaves and ice cubes.
