Guest guest
Hi, From my understanding, not having wheat/gluten may affect a lab test. It may come back borderline.... or even negative. My son has celiac and all of his labs reverted back to normal levels after he was formally diagnosed and then went gluten-free.... ie a measurement of his compliance/sucess with the gluten-free life style. I have ~heard~ of some people were instructed to eat gluten for around six weeks before some tests, but you would have to check with your doctor. Some of these people were unwilling to go through more agony to get a clear diagnosis (since going gluten-free was such a dramatically positive experience for them). Just my 2 cents and hope this helps... but please, check with your doctor.
