Chai Smoothie 2pts

 

IF you like chai tea flavor, you'll love this smoothie. Used in

Chinese, Indian, and Southeast Asia cuisine, coriander helps the

digestive system by stimulating the secreation of gastric juices; it

also helps reduce flatulence.

 

1 cup plain soy milk or milk of choice

1 banana, peeled and cut in chunks

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

1/8 teaspoon ground coriander

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/8 teaspoon stevia or 1 tablespoon honey

6 ice cubes ( or 6 frozen chai tea cubes)

 

Pour the milk into a blender and add the above ingredients. As an

option, you can pour steeped chai tea inot an ice cube tray and add

frozen tea cubes to your smoothie. Blen on high speed until smooth.

Serve immediately.

 

Serves 2. Serving size 9.1 oz each serving 2 pts
