Cashews are rich in magnesium, a mineral that has been shown to help lower blood pressure. Fruits and vegetables in general have shown positive effects in lowering blood pressure. 1/2 cup apple juice ( 1 apple juiced) 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed if fresh 1/2 cup unsalted cashews ( raw cashews taste best) 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 6 ice cubes Pour the apple juice into blender and add the blueberries, cashews, vanilla, and ice cubes.
