Combine them with calcium -rich cashews and soy milk and you have a terrific bone-strengthening smoothie. 1 cup plain soy milk or milk of choice. 6 fresh ripe small black figs, cut in half 1 medium frozen banana, cut in chunks 3 tablespoons raw cashews, roasted- roast cashews in a 350F oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ascorbic acid ( vitamin C powder) 4-6 ice cubes ( optional) Put all ingrediends in blend and blend on high until smooth and serve immediatedly.
