Three-Berry Blast 3pts

 

The berries make a darkly rich, colorful drink, and the yogurt makes it

creamy. Turn this smoothie into a party special with orange-slice

garnishes. Berries are a source of catechins, phyonutrients that are

shown to support the immune system and ehlp lower cholesterol.

 

1/2 cup plain soy milk or milk of choice

1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed if fresh

1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries, rinsed if fresh

1/2 cup fresh or frozen black berries, rinsed if fresh

1 frozen banana, cut in chunks

garnish: two orange slice (optional)

 

put all ingredients in blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

Serve immediately.

 

Serves 2 serving size 10.0oz each serving 3 pts
