You can cook ground flax seeds but not flax seed oil. I grind mine in

the liquidiser and have them in hot oats, you can also add them to

cakes/biscuits and fruit smoothies. If you put two tablespoons of

ground flax seed with a few tablespoons of hot water, leave for

10minutes and whisk. This is mixture a good substitute for eggs in

baking.

 

You should eat two tablespoons full of ground flax seeds everyday to

get your omega 3. They are gluten free too! :)

 

Flax seed oil goes rancid quickly, it must be kept in the fridge and

consumed within 4-6weeks. Keep ground flax seeds in the fridge or the

freezer and will keep for months.
