Guest guest
I am also having some success after making some changes. I had been working out steadily three or four days per week since May. I got toned and my clothes fit better, but I didn't lose weight. I've now cut out dairy (I had a monkey on my back in the form of a cheese fixation), drink plenty of water and other than that I eat when I'm hungry (5 or 6 times per day, veggies, fruit, grains, beans, nuts, seeds). Also, instead of working out three or four days for an hour I work out four or five days for about 30-40 minutes. I've lost three pounds since I weighed myself on the first of January and I can feel my shape changing and I swear I can feel my metabolism revving up. My face looks thinner, my skin is clearer and I feel better. Another thing that may be helping - I started taking L-tryptophan a couple of weeks ago and I think it helps calm my food fixation. I tend to overeat at night when I'm not distracted by work, and I think eating until stuffed has a sedative effect on my mind and body. However, the L-tryptophan also has a mild sedative effect, and I think it's working, along with eliminating the animal fat. Sorry for the long post guys, but as you can see, I'm really excited about this! Take care and keep posting the good news, Becky
