Guest guest
Just as expected, according to Sunday's media, there WAS no March- at least in papers I had a leaf through in the newsagents- well, the independant On Sunday had it on the front cover, but all the others thought the long past love life of a has been prime minister was far more important. The Sunday Mirror had a bit on the March on page 19, the sunday Express did not acknowledge that the march had taken place at all, not one mention as far as I could see throughout the entire paper. A bit different from a week earlier when a 'special souvenier edition' with about 11 pages of photo's and coverage was published for the Country Bumkins and Posh Totty come to town march... BTW I heard that on the CA March, you could actually be a member of the March by proxy- that is, if you filled in and returned a form to the CA saying that you supported the march, the organisers would include you in the attendance figures. Incredible - apparently Sky News stated that they had counted 500,000 people! But obviously that's not quite big enough to make the newspapers. > BTW I heard that on the CA March, you could actually be a member of > the March by proxy- that is, if you filled in and returned a form to > the CA saying that you supported the march, the organisers would > include you in the attendance figures. Nothing surprises me about the CA!! BTW, we were at the vegan-festival yesterday, and saw a couple of your books on Permaculture :-) BB Peter --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Hi Graham It makes you sick doesn't it. Sky reported the numbers okay. Obviously the media bosses support hunting, and war! I had heard that about the numbers included as attending. But there never is a truth in their statements. Guest guest
Hi Graham Did you enjoy the vegan festival? We heard someone ask for you, so we kept going back to the stall to see if anyone different was there, but there wasn't, so we didn't get the chance to say hello.
