Guest guest Posted September 8, 2006 Report Share Posted September 8, 2006 Easy Tomato Sauce Source: Weimar Cookbook 1 cup tomatoes, fresh or canned 1 carrot, scrubbed 2 dates, minced 1 small onion pinch of basil and oregano 1/8 tsp. salt Blend tomatoes and add carrot chunks until desired consistency is reached. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. For Tomato Paste Thicken the above recipe with arrowroot until desired consistency is reached.
