Guest guest
I bought sealed refrigerated packages of tofu. One firm and one silken. Do I need to open the packages and change the water or just leave them until I use them. If I don't open them how long will they last? Guest guest
I'm not sure how long it will last, but as long as you don't open it you won t have to change the water. I would say you will need to use it with in a week or so. I buy the non refrigerate tofu kind that lasts for months. Guest guest
There should be an expiry date on the package or as I call it 'a die date'. I know it's just an estimate and the tofu is good well past that date but I would use it as a guideline. Once it is opened, it should be covered in water and I like to use it up quickly.
