Emes Kosher-jel Plain or powdered agar agar 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup boiling water 1/2 cup raw cashew pieces 1 tsp. sea salt 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 (454g) package medium/firm tofu *opt. 1/4 tsp. onion powder *opt. green onions, chopped Place jel in blender. Add 1/4 cup water. Let sit 5 minutes. Pour in boiling water. Whiz 30 seconds in blender. Add remaining ingredients except green onions. Blend until mixture is very smooth. Stir in green onions if desired. Pour into container or mold and refrigerate until set. Spread on bagels, bread, or use in various recipes.
