Guest guest Posted April 19, 2005 Report Share Posted April 19, 2005 Cream of Garbanzo Soup 2 cups cooked garbanzos 1/2 cup minced onion 1 cup minced celery 1/4 cup water 2 Tbsp. gluten free flour (fava/garbanzo) 2 cups water 2 cups soy milk (or alternative) tsp. salt 1/4 cup minced parsley 1/4 tsp. nutritional yeast flakes Gently sauté the first five ingredients until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Do not boil. Serves 4 - 6. Instead of garbanzos you may use 1- 3 cups whole kernel or creamed corn, dumplings, or olives.
