Guest guest Posted June 23, 2006 Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 Garlic String Beans 800 g (28 oz) frozen green beans 2 tablespoons (6 tsp) crushed garlic 1 dash salt 75 g (2 1/2 oz) vegan margarine 100 g (3 1/2 oz) slivered almonds 1. Cook green beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes, until just crunchy. 2. Rinse immediately under cold water. (Alternately, you can cook the beans in the microwave for a few mintues until heated through.) 3. Put margarine in pan and melt, add slivered almonds and toast.
