Guest guest
Wowzers - 3 jobs???? Can you clarify something - are you going to be somewhere that you can't eat with utensils??? Is there a reason you can't take a plastic fork/spoon with you in the morning? The reason I'm asking is there are tons of good rice salad or salads with beans and veggies that you could be enjoying, but you would definitely need a fork or a spoon. You can only eat so many wraps! Let us know more about your eating conditions. Guest guest
Then I would look for foods in the " appetizer " categories on the various vegan websites out there. You will find foods that you can either pick up with your fingers, or foods that you can " scoop " with a chip or a cracker. You could alternate your scooped foods with wraps every other day so your diet doesn't become monotonous. Personally, with such a tight schedule, I would have at least one of those meals be a fruit meal....an apple, orange, berries or melon pieces (or both), etc. would be satisfying and nutritious. Are you going to get breaks on any of these jobs? Maybe you could consider eating during a break, rather than while driving to and from. It would definitely be better for your body to be relaxed while eating, and then your utensil issue isn't! Good luck! Guest guest
How about veggie burgers or Vegan Sausages ? They may take a little longer to make initially, but you can make a batch and keep them in the freezer to use as you need. Both make great finger food. Files > ***Recipes Posted to VGF*** > Mains > Burgers, " Meatballs " , Patties, Sausages etc. One recipe that my son likes to take to school, and we all eat with our fingers, is Tofu Croquettes. I make mine in a food processor, add some crumbs, make them into croquette shapes, lightly roll them in some more crumbs and then fry in a little oil. Files > ***Recipes Posted to VGF*** > Appetizers and Snacks > Croquettes Muesli bars can make a good filling snack and will help keep your energy levels up between meals. I keep these in the freezer for the kids school lunches.
