Television 6 cups water 2 tsp. olive oil 1 cup lentils 3 large cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp. vegan beef-style seasoning (see archives for recipe) 1 1/4 tsp. cumin 1 tsp. coriander 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1/2 tsp. paprika dash cayenne pepper, optional 3 sprigs fresh cilantro Boil water and olive oil. Add lentils. Add garlic, beef-style seasoning, cumin, coriander, salt, turmeric, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Simmer, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Add cilantro just before serving.
