Guest guest
Hey Cindi, congrats at your loss. I have good news too! I restarted my weight loss efforts 3 weeks ago ‹ I¹ve always been one who could either diet or exercise, but both at the same time was always hard to maintain. Well since the 2nd of January I¹ve been sticking to my eating plan, and starting the following weekend I added regular exercise to the mix. So I¹ve just finished 3 full weeks of both healthy eating AND exercise in combination. I weigh in on Saturdays -- week one I lost 3.2 pounds, week two I lost 3.1 pounds, and at yesterday¹s weigh-in I had lost 1.76 pounds. However, I got on the scale again this morning and what do you know, another 1.76 pounds gone just since yesterday. So all up I¹ve lost 9.82 pounds in 3 weeks! I¹m thrilled. I try to get in two exercise sessions each day ‹ either a shorter walk or an exercise video in the mornings, and a longer walk each evening. One thing that¹s really helped me is borrowing one of Lisa Delaney¹s secrets from her book ³Secrets of a Former Fat Girl² -- it¹s called INO, or ŒIt¹s Not an Option² -- so when I want to eat off plan I just don¹t because I know it¹s not an option. Or if I feel like skipping an exercise session I remind myself that it¹s just not an option. I put my shoes on and get out there and do it anyway. It¹s been working for me! Guest guest
my holiday weight is gone!!!! Woohoo! A few days back at the gym did it (and getting back to a healthy rutine) helped dramatically. My Hubby is home more, so I have more opportunity to get to the gym (difficult with a 2.5 year old), but he sees that I am a more pleasant person Cassie " life's a garden, dig it!
