Barb K AZ, USA Add a green salad, small serving of brown rice or whole wheat burger buns, and you are ready for a nice meal. Olive Boozed Burgers [adapted from a recipe in www.allrecipes.com<http://www.allrecipes.com/>] 2 tablespoons olive oil [or less] 4 veggie burgers [i used portabella] salt and pepper to taste 1 tablespoon olive oil, if needed - to sauté the garlic 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine 1/4 cup gin or vodka 1 tablespoon lemon juice If you use fresh lemon, slice a few slivers of it into the mix 1/4 cup sliced pimento-stuffed green olives Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper. Place in the skillet, and brown on each side. Reduce heat to medium, [add any needed oil] add garlic. Sauté for about 3 minutes.
