Guest guest
Hi Peter -- I'll type this verbatim from the bottle:- "Bragg Liquid Aminos contains the following 16 amino acids - Alanine, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Histidine, Isoleuchine, Lysine, Leucine, Methlonine, Phenylalanine, Proline, Serine, Thresonine, Tryosine,Valine. Essential and Non-Essential Amino Acids in naturally occuring amounts from liquid-protein from soybeans only". Hope this helps. Janey x Hi Janey What are the ingredients of Braggs? Guest guest
As far as I can tell, there's no nutritional difference between that (Braggs) and soya milk. They both contain the soy amino acids in their natural proportions. It's just that one of them breaks the protein up before you get to your stomach, but your intestines are perfectly capable of doing that for you. Guest guest
I wasn't comparing it to soya milk. I use Braggs for cooking, on salads etc - a completely different use. ---- 05 January 2003 02:09:51 Re: Peter - Bragg's - WAS- Re: Help me, everything has bodies in it! Guest guest
I know. *I* compared it to soya milk. You did say you used it for its health properties as well as its taste. Given that soya milk is much, much, cheaper than Bragg's amino acids, I didn't want listmembers to waste their money on it thinking they were getting some special health benefit. Obviously, if you like the taste (or don't get soya elsewhere) then go for it .
