Guest guest
Fatigue could result from constantly ingesting gluten as your digestive system would ultimately not provide you with proper nutrition as the gluten causes a reaction that damages the intestinal villi. Brown rice is gluten free, but rye is not and should be avoided on a GF diet. Wheat, rye, barley and oats (some people tolerate uncontaminated oats) are to be avoided if you have celiac disease. Guest guest
Yes Stacy if you are a celiac and the gluten is damaging your villi, you will not be absorbing the nutrients you need. Another option is that your are suffering a brain reaction to the gluten called Cerebral Allergy Response. If I get gluten (or soy for that matter) I am bagged for days. It can also make me very very moody. BL On 3/29/06, aubrysmomma <aubrysmomma wrote: > > Hi guys, > I'm brand new to this way of eating. I think gluten might be making > me tired.
