Guest guest Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 Turnips & Peppers 1 medium green pepper, seeded and chopped 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped 4 medium turnips, peeled, sliced and steamed until tender 1 t vegan margarine or olive oil 1 cup green onion tops, chopped 2 t raw brown sugar (or alternative sweetener of choice) 1/8 t allspice 1/4 t taragon, ground 1/8 t sea salt pinch ground cloves pinch cayenne pepper pinch garlic powder Saute bell peppers and onion until they are translucent.
