Guest guest
I had a bad first experience with frozen commercial gf bread (Glutino brand - I found it tasteless and impossible to toast properly), but I decided that I would give commercial gf bread a second chance, so I picked up a loaf of Food for Life Raisin Pecan bread. I tried it as soon as I got home, and I found the bread to be reasonably tasty (albeit too sweet). The problem is, I am having a really hard time getting slices of bread off of the frozen loaf (it probably took me 20 minutes to get on slice off and I destroyed 1.5 other slices in the process). Has anyone else had this problem? Should I just defrost the loaf? I'm also having a problem toasting the bread - the edges get really toasty but the middle doesn't...
