Guest guest
Hi Marie ~ I can understand the " now or never " feeling. I haven't been thinking too much about the new year yet, but know I need to start implementing change. It's been a really hard 6+ months for me (relationship ended, laid off) and I am trying to look forward with positivity and a chance for growth and new things. I am looking at simple things that will help the overall picture instead of feeling panicked about where I ultimately want to be. Like...take the dog for an extra walk a day. Drink more herbal tea (this helps me with digestion, appetite, and well you know, all the great things herbs do!), take warm bubble baths, start planning more meals from scratch (plus it's cheaper since I'm unemployed right now!). I've realized I can be obsessed with food and what I'm going to eat and I'm taking steps to overcome that and I've felt really good this last week getting back on track. Yay me! :-) I've lost 26 pounds since my highest last November but I'm still 34 lb higher than my lowest 11 months ago. I've been stuck lately. Hence the taking care of me and being more active. Ok, sheesh, sorry to blather on! :-) Hope everyone has a good New Year. Be kind to yourself, and your health! Monday, December 29, 2008, 1:26 PM Hi Dragon, I need to soak up some inspiration. Do you have any to spare? (LOL) It's the right time of year for new beginnings. I have that sort of 'it's now or never' feeling. Cheers, Marie
