Guest guest
Hi Dragon, Let's see: 16 tangerines at 35 or 40 - let's say 40 - calories a pop would be (takes off shoes and socks to assist in counting) 640 calories, the Walkers Fries at 95 calories a pop would be 665 calories, and the wine around 780 calories the litre (assuming you let Dr D have a few sips, you can take off around 90 calories per 115 ml glass you didn't drink) . . . That'd be about a 2085 calorie snack for the whole lot. As it happens, people need about a third more than that to put on a pound. I reckon it was the salt in the crisps (Oh and the crisps had more than 24 grammes of fat.) IF you don't want to keep that 2/3 pound on, then you'll have to cut back accordingly. Think about it (whew! what a lot of calories to cut back for the sake of a snack!) - it makes my head spin and makes me wonder what I've been snacking on lately!!!! Stress eating is common, isn't it. Some lucky people lose weight when they get anxious of course, but . . . . OK, back at it, my girl! No fooling around. Clamp your pretty jaws shut at foolish indulgence and lose that weight or I'll swim across there and scold you in person! And good luck. It's not easy to lose weight - and so easy to gain! In other news - 1 pound back on (hmm stress eating of 16 tangerines, 7 packs of Walker's French Fries and most of a bottle of wine would have nothing to do with it I am sure!)
