Lentils are sprouted just like you'd sprout alfalfa or radish seeds. Place the raw lentils in a container that's covered with water overnight. Then drain and place moist lentils in a dark cupboard. Wash at least once per day until they sprout (several days). If you wish the sprouts to " green up " place them in a lighted room before using for cooking or raw salads.
