Guest guest
Hello, I'm responding to your reaching out for input from others regarding what to consume. It is not clear to me if I really have what I was diagnosed with in Oct 2000 which is MS, but between Chinese doctors in Richmond, B.C. saying my system is a cold system and I need " meat, " and a nutritionist telling me I need to follow the " Eat Right For Your Type " diet; what I wanted to do others are saying is not the best thing for my health. There are food items like tomatoes that I'm not supposed to eat, due to lectins in them that hurt my system; even though I love tomatoes they don't love me. Dairy I've been told over and over produces mucous, so I do not consume milk. I do however consume fat free yogurt which is dairy but helpful to my system. There are so many foods I'd like to consume, but have to be cautious of the way my body will react to them. Some food may produce bacteria or parasites so one must watch that also. I suppose if you do consume any animal products it is best to eat what is organic so that you are not eating an awful mess that someone has produced just for " the money. " Produce needs to be cleaned really well even if it is organic; but even if cleaned on the outside when it isn't; one needs to think about the environment it grew in and all the pesticides that have been used, (too much) in order to produce this zucchinni, carrot, or apple, etc..... Must sound like a big bag of hot air, sorry to take up so much space here. Feel good and take care. Linda
