Guest guest
My husband, 54, started the Dr. Dean Ornish's Program for Reversing Heart Disease whick is a lacto-ovo-vegetarian diet ( webmd.com/content/pages/9/3068_9408.htm ) 2 months ago and has found that having only about 10% fat, 15% protein and about 65-75% complex-carbo's his resting BP has gone down 15-20 points each side (systolic/diastolic) and his resting Heart rate has gone down to between 60-65 at night. He says he has a new energy (I guess since he is not taking in any fats). Now my question is: Has anyone else found this to be true (BP and HR) on a similar food intake of this kind? thank you sally
