Guest guest
Hi Barbara; I have an Oster rice/veggie steamer which I love! We take it with us everywhere we travel, it's light, convenient and works very well. I've tried a number of different models, and the main problem I found was the mess from the steaming/frothing over. This Oster model has a drip catcher and steam baffle in the lid that helps keep the moisture IN the machine. Probably the very best type(s) are the ones you get in Chinese grocery stores. They tend to be well over $100 though. The Oster was under $100. I don't have a bread maker, but your question reminded me of a new product I have recently discovered and am enjoying very much. It's a " Pamela's " brand packaged gf bread mix. It comes with it's own yeast packet even. The flavour and texture are the best of any I've tried, and I've tried lots of 'em! Here's an URL for more info on " Pamela's " products. http://www.amazon.com/gp/search.html/104-8624007-3993565?node=3580501 & brand=Pame\ la%27s%20Baking%20Mixes%20Wheat/Gluten%20Free Good luck! Deborah Hello group. I hope everyone's Friday is going well. I am considering purchasing a rice/veggie steamer and wondered if anyone had any recommendations. Or brands to stay away from. I am also considering buying a bread machine and would like to hear any feedback you have on those as well. Thank you so much, in advance. Barbara H. Guest guest
Thank you, thank you! I had an old rice cooker and the frothing over problem was very annoying. I will look out for this one. , " Deborah Pageau " <dpageau wrote: > > Hi Barbara; > > I have an Oster rice/veggie steamer which I love!
