Guest guest Posted May 11, 2005 Report Share Posted May 11, 2005 Hawaiian Rice 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup green or red pepper 1 cup cashews or almonds 1/4 cup gluten free flour 4 cups water 2 cups pineapple juice garlic salt 2 tbs. honey (or vegan sweetener of choice) 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tbs. celery seed 20 oz. can crushed pineapple Saute first three ingredients in small amount of water. Blend cashews, flour and 1 1/2 cup water until smooth. Then add remaining water. Pour into saucepan. Add pineapple juice and stir until boiling. Add remaining ingredients. Stir in vegetables.
