Guest guest
This is the recipe I use all the time to use up cabbage - since I started making it, we never have too much cabbage anymore. I don't know what skillet cabbage is so I hope this isn't the same. I got the recipe from my CSA. Cabbage Foogath 1/2 tsp mustard seed olive oil 1 small onion, diced 1/2 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp turmeric 3 cups cabbage, shredded 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 cup coconut, shredded (unsweetened) 1/2 cup water Fry onion and mustard seeds in a bit of oil until crackly. Add cumin & turmeric and mix. Add cabbage, salt, coconut and water. Cook until cabbage is tender, stirring frequently, about 5 to 10 minutes. [My skillet holds about 1/2 a head of cabbage, so that's how much I use, and I double the cumin, mustard seed, salt, and coconut. Exact measurements are not needed for this recipe.] -Laura KQB Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
