Guest guest
In May I'm flying to and from London on British Airways, which has the most extensive range of special meals I've ever seen. They do have gluten-free, but that isn't usually vegan or even vegetarian. And their Vegan option is likely to be grainy, with whole-grain bread, or meal bars, or pasta as main items. There's also a fruit plate item, and an Asian Vegetarian option. I know the fruit plate is GF, but does anyone know about Asian Vegetarian? When I picture Asian foods I think of rice and rice noodles, but when I flew on Northwest once before they went to selling meals on flights, their idea of Asian Vegetarian was a salad in a pita pocket and a brownie... Does anyone have any experience with British Airways on this? Last time I flew BA, they messed up and didn't get my order, but the flight crew actually managed to accommodate me. However, it was a complete and total nuisance. Is the best thing to order a fruit plate menu for all meals and to bring my own tofu, as it were?
