Guest guest Posted September 29, 2005 Report Share Posted September 29, 2005 Creamed Asparagus Source: 3abn.org 1 can Asparagus ½ cup of Silk soymilk, unsweetened 1 cup Silk creamer 1 ½ Tbsp. soy margarine 2 Tbsp. flour (gf option/garbanzo or soy flour) Salt to taste Parsley to give color 1. Place the margarine in a pot and melt. 2. Add flour while stirring continuously, then add the soy milk and silk creamer. 3. When thickened add the asparagus pieces (drained) and season with salt and sugar. 4. You can also use some of the liquid from the cans of Asparagus if so desired. * Instead of asparagus you can use canned mushrooms to make creamed mushrooms.
