Advocates for Animals - Elephant polo

journalistandanimals

Dear ,

A Scottish team regularly competes in elephant polo competitions. We would

like to campaign for an end to Scottish involvement in elephant polo. I

would therefore be most grateful if you could kindly provide me with any

information you have about the welfare of the elephants used in this

'sport'. I am interested to know more about the welfare concerns in training

and actually playing the game. Also, what happens to these elephants for the

rest of their lives?

Many thanks and best wishes

Yours sincerely
