Guest guest Posted April 11, 2004 Report Share Posted April 11, 2004 Carrots Lyonnaise 2-3 T. vegan margarine 1/4 c. chopped onions 3 c. thinly sliced carrots 1/3 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. sugar (or alternative sweetener) 1/4 tsp. salt Melt butter in saucepan. Slice pared carrots, rinse off and lift, dripping to the saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Stir and cover. Simmer 5-8 minutes over med. heat or until tender. Stir occasionally. Serve hot.
